2010 Merchant's Building Information
Booth Application
Dear Merchants:
Fair time is quickly approaching and it’s time to sign up for a space in the Merchants or Agricultural Building.
Please complete and return the enclosed application by June 14, 2010, if you wish to reserve your same space as last year. Or if you have a specific space you may request it at this time. We will try our best to fill this request, but we cannot guarantee your request will be met. Those returned from June 15th through June 30th will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. There is a waiting list this year, therefore, any spaces that are not reserved by July 1st will be open to the Merchants on said list.
Prices are remaining the same this year. Cost is $100.00 per space plus an additional $10.00 for electricity (anything plugged into an electrical outlet).
Each merchant will receive ONE weekly pass. Additional passes will be available for sale at the secretary’s office or you may order them with your space reservation.
Payment and Proof of Liability Insurance must accompany the application. Please notify us immediately if you must cancel, as we often have a waiting list. However, refunds are allowed ONLY if all spaces are filled and we are able to fill the space you reserved with another vendor.
Lessee assumes all risk for personal property placed on fair ground property. The Lessor, its officers, members, agents and the Defiance County Commissioners are not responsible or liable for loss or damage of any nature to any property of Lessee, Lessee’s employees, agents or others due to injury, sickness, death, fire, weather, theft, vandalism, accidents of any kind, any other acts of God or man, or any other source(s).
Any person(s) using or creating a disturbance or making a nuisance of themselves through: loud, boisterous or profane language; drugs, alcoholic beverages, or any other illegal substance, shall be barred from the fair grounds completely and his/her property shall be removed from the premises.
NO ONE IS TO LEAVE OR TEAR DOWN UNTIL AFTER 6:00P.M. ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 2010. If you leave or tear down early, you could potentially lose your space for the next year.
Open Flames or burning of any kind is prohibited in the buildings

Anyone wishing to tear down after these set hours must call to arrange a time.
